1. Be safe and respectful
Use Wedding Quest for consensual, lawful event participation. Hosts should design prompts for the people and setting in the room, provide a non-participation option and avoid putting pressure on guests to disclose, perform or photograph something uncomfortable.
2. Content that is not allowed
You must not create, request, upload, display or share content that:
- sexually exploits or endangers a child, or appears to do so;
- contains non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual content involving an unwilling person;
- threatens, harasses, humiliates, stalks or targets a person for abuse;
- promotes hatred or violence against a protected group;
- encourages dangerous conduct, self-harm, unlawful substance use or property damage;
- invades privacy, publishes highly sensitive information or records someone where prohibited;
- infringes copyright, trade mark or another person’s rights;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory or otherwise unlawful; or
- contains malware, credential theft, automated abuse or attempts to bypass access controls.
3. Prohibited platform activity
Do not scrape event data, test vulnerabilities without written authorisation, overwhelm the service, create bulk or misleading accounts, resell access without permission, impersonate another person, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or use event participation for surveillance, biometric identification or unrelated profiling.
4. Sensitive events
Memorials and ceremonies may involve grief, faith, culture, health or family information. Use the gentler event modes, avoid competitive scoring when inappropriate, and obtain clear permission before collecting or displaying a memory or image. The product must never be used to ridicule a deceased person or a grieving guest.
5. Enforcement and reports
Hosts can reject or remove event uploads. We may quarantine content, restrict an event, suspend an account, preserve evidence or report activity where reasonably required for safety, policy enforcement or law. Serious child-safety and credible imminent-harm reports should be escalated immediately under a documented response procedure.
Report concerns to [verified safety/support email and urgent escalation channel], including the event reference and enough information to locate the material. Do not forward illegal imagery in a report.
6. Appeals
An affected host may ask us to review an enforcement decision. We will consider the event context, risk, evidence and any legal constraints. Restoring content is not guaranteed where continued restriction is reasonably necessary to protect people or comply with law.
